Cheap dinette sets can be found in almost every home across the globe, since most people will have a formal dining area with expensive dining room furniture to entertain guests, friends and acquaintances and family dinners during formal occasions. For everyday use though a cheap dinette set in the kitchen nook or in the space between the kitchen and the family room is what gets used most. Cheap dinette sets that usually come bare bones with just a dinette table and either four or six chairs find use in a wide variety of everyday occasions from having breakfast and midday and evening meals to doing home related paperwork such as writing bills and checks.

Because of the high use of cheap dinette sets everyday, the chairs that are purchased with the dinette table need to be quite comfortable. While standard wood chairs are alright to be placed, it is advisable to get chairs with seat cushions already in place. If not, you can purchase separate seat cushions that can be tied down to the chair seats. The advantage of the latter is that they can be removed and washed separately in case of spills and other damage. The chair design is also important. When possible, avoid getting chairs with arm rests, because these tend to reduce elbow room especially when the available area is limited. Additionally, the fingers of the occupants are liable to get squished when the arm rests of two very closely placed dinette set chairs are butted together.

Depending upon the number of members in your family, if there is a space premium where the dinette set is placed, you might want to consider moving the extra chairs to a different area of the house or even move them down to the basement and bring it up only when necessary to avoid clutter and removing additional obstacles during normal everyday moving around.
